ACERC is a think tank centre with focus on the Albania energy market and its integration in the regional IEM. The Acerc mission base on the in-depth knowledge of EU and regional energy law and policy and strives to provide a qualified contribution to the promotion of the liberalization and effective integration as well as efficient use of energy resources.

main activities briefly consists in build-up collaborations and supports to market players in study researches such as the certificate reports, articles and periodicals. The transfer of high expertise through building-up institutional capacities by national and regional training courses, seminars and conferences. The institutional representation and integration within framework of the forum of Albanian School of Regulation.

ECS announces first call for selection of priority projects in line with trans-European energy infrastructure Regulation, 21 Jan 2016

The Secretariat announced today the first call for the selection of priority infrastructure projects under the EU Regulation on the guidelines for trans-European energy infrastructure, the “TEN–E Regulation”, adopted by the Energy Community Ministerial Council in 2015. The projects selected will benefit from streamlined permitting processes, improved regulatory conditions, and better access to financial support. The call targets projects in the categories of electricity transmission and storage; gas transmission and storage; oil; and smart grids deployment.

Project promoters are invited to submit their candidate projects no later than 22 February 2016, 18.00 (CET). The candidate projects that meet the general criteria will be assessed according to the procedure laid down in the TEN-E Regulation. The final list will be established by a decision of the Energy Community Ministerial Council before 31 December 2016.
