First Campaign for Collective Electricity Supplier Switch in Bulgaria, 11.09.2015 15:32

AEI Updates September 2015Posted by Arben Hoxha Fri, September 11, 2015 18:19:27

Online platform energienpazar.bg (meaning “energy market”) announced it is launching the first campaign for collective electricity supplier switching in Bulgaria. The event will take place on Monday, September 14, at 10.00 a.m. EET, at the BTA headquarters in Sofia.

The campaign is aimed at small and medium enterprises in Bulgaria and will try to unite the business in order to help these companies attain a more viable electricity price.

“It is not a secret that the electricity market in Bulgaria does not function well. We at energienpazar.bg would like to change that at least a little. This is why we decided to set up a campaign for collective electricity supplier switching in Bulgaria. For us, this is the second step towards the creation of a real market”, energienpazar.bg said in a statement to the press.

The company has been involved in the first household customer electricity supplier switch in Bulgaria, which took place earlier in 2015. The liberalised electricity market in the country, however, is still not accessible for households.

energienpazar.bg is the first established platform for selecting tailored offers for power supply in Bulgaria.
